“the 1039” refers to my elementary school home, our living room was black and gold––as is my living room now.

one of the cards that started it all, this card was first painted on sabbatical in porto, portugal. it was the first original design from my break abroad, one of a handful that became a gifts i gave away to friends and community i made while i was there. it’s more dense use of metallic golds shimmers in the light, making it feel extra special.

each sculpture is one-of-a-kind, made from premium cardstock with metallic gold, red, yellow, and white acrylic paint. this run of sculptures is hand-painted, hand-folded, hand-cut, and signed by the artist, jarrett hill.
