Speaking

It's not an accident my reports cards throughout grade school all had a note home with something to the effect of "talks too much in class." There are few things I enjoy more than using words and visuals to tell stories, to ask questions, to craft narratives, to express or explain ideas. From speeches to presentations, I'm probably most at home with a crowd of people, having a discussion about things that matter to me or them. Let's talk about how we can work together.

A talk on what I'm probably most known for: sending out a series of tweets that would ultimately change my life - and interrupt the 2016 presidential election's news cycle.

My story of how I knew, how I got the word out, and all that got me prepared to take on the next steps in my career.

COMING OUT

At the ripe old age of 19, I came out to my family. Outing myself as a gay man would send my relationship with my family, my friends and myself down a completely new path.

How I came to the decision, my views on my faith and my sexual orientation, and how I brought my resistant family around.
